• Maytag Dishwasher

We went out to a call in the Cambria community in the San Tan Valley area to work on a dishwasher that was acting weird. It would start obey itself without having anyone turned it on. Normally this is a no-brainer computer board issue. When we arrived we could not get it to duplicate the issue, not an uncommon thing to happen. We unplugged the power to the unit and let it sit for 10 minutes. This will reset computer board back to the factory settings. It’s been a few weeks and not heard back from the customer problem solved. If you’re having similar problems with your dishwasher try unplugging it from a power source and letting it sit for 10 minutes or call us at 602-412-3133.

  • Whirlpool Microwave

Recently we were called out to a whirlpool microwave job in the San Tan Vistas community in Queen Creek. The problem with the unit was everything worked but it would not heat. Microwaves can be a bit hazardous to work on if your not careful. Inside of these units they carry a capacitor that holds up to 2000 volts of electricity. Always be careful to discharge the capacitor before attempting to perform a repair on your own. With this customer’s unit the problem was the magnetron shorted out. Most microwaves will have this problem when they do not heat. We replaced the magnetron and diode and problem solved. If your microwave is not heating give us a call for a free phone estimate at (602) 412-3133.

  • Gilbert Clogged Dryer Vent

Recently we had a customer call in from Gilbert with a concern that their dryer was taking too long to complete a dry cycle. When we arrived we determined that the dryer operation was normal, however the moisture build up inside the unit was far too high. This happens when the unit cannot move the hot moist air outside the home through the wall vent. Here is a picture of what we pulled out of the wall. If you have similar concerns please give us a call at 602-412-3133.
