We were called to a project in Windmill Ranch in Gilbert for a Whirlpool dryer that would no longer work. This was one of the computerized units that are controlled by a computer to better use energy. What I found is not uncommon these days, a dryer main control board that had a short. Once we determined that the power supply lines were all within specifications we traced the power right back to the source problem. We replaced the control board and the unit returned back to its original operation. Sometimes this can be causes by a power spike after the electricity when out. If this happens I suggest calling your power company for reimbursement of the repair. They are a business just like any other and have insurance for these types of problems. If your dryer is experiencing a similar problem please give us a call at 602-412-3133. Other models that may have the same issue are listed below.
A Client from Florence called in for a repair on his dryer. The noise coming from the unit was not bad but would get worse in time so it was just time to clear it up. Dryers can last a very long time if properly maintained. We still go out and work on some GE and Whirlpool dryers that are 35-40 years old. The Maytag dryers can go even longer. This unit we replaced the dryer idler pulley and belt, the rollers were ok at the time but the customer thought it best to replace them while we already had the unit torn down. Idler pulley replace, dryer support rollers new, the unit sounded like it just came off the showroom floor. If your dryer is having problems please give us a try by calling at 602-412-3133.

We went to a call at Superstition Views in San Tan Valley for a Whirlpool Top loading washer. The concern was for a water leak, when I arrived I found that the unit did have a pretty good leaking while filling. This can happen for many different sources like the washer water pump, washer water valve, or any of the numerous internal water lines. The only way to truly tell is to teardown the washer and inspect for where it is leaking. As you can see sometimes a washer can take a little while to get into. Once we had it torn down the leak was obvious, it was coming from the center tub seal. This doesn’t happen very often but when it does it can cause quite a bit of damage if left unattended. We replaced the seal and problem solved. If your
One of our customers just called in from Remington Heights community in Queen Creek to have us check out a GE Refrigerator as it was not cooling at all. The food was as risk so we came out right away. When we arrived we found that both the evaporator fan and condenser fan were running which means the compressor should also be running, it was not. We popped open the cover for the motherboard and did a voltage test from the control board to the compressor and found the problem. We replaced the main control board and problem solved. If your GE refrigerator is having similar problems please give us a call at 602-412-3133.

Recently we were called out to the Sun Farms community in Queen Creek. The customer reported that their dishwasher had no power at the control panel. When we arrived we found that the wall outlet was fine but the dishwasher would not respond to any commands. We checked for voltage at the terminal block and it showed 120 V as it should. Then we opened up the dishwasher panel where the control board is located in tested the thermal fuse for continuity, the thermal fuse was shorted so we replaced the dishwasher thermal fuse and tested. Problem solved, if your dishwasher has no power at the control board give us a call at 602-412-3133.
We were called out to a job in the Magma Ranch community in Florence for a GE microwave that was having trouble with the microwave turntable motor. When we arrived we found that the motor was locked up and making a horrible noise. This is not an uncommon problem for all microwaves, when food sprays all over the inside of these units moisture will go to its lowest point which is where the turntable motor is. When this happens it is necessary to replace the motor. After doing the repair it is important to check all other operations as the motor can at times back feed and short out other major components like a main control board. If your microwave is having this type of problem give us a call at (602) 412-3133.

If your dishwasher is having similar issues give us a call at 602-412-3133
A good client of ours from Silverstone Ranch in Gilbert called in for a GE Refrigerator ice dispenser not working properly. Here in Arizona having ice is almost as necessary as having water. When we arrived the mood in the home was somber ;-), not really but lets say the family was very happy to see me. I found that the ice dispenser motor had failed. This will result in a number of different types of symptoms, crushed or cubed ice only, no ice dispensing at all which is what happened in this case. We tested for voltage to the dispenser and found that it was indeed getting the proper voltage to the dispenser motor. We replaced the ice door dispenser motor and problem solved. If your ice dispenser is having problems please give us a try and call us at (602) 412-3133
Sometimes it makes more sense to replace rather than repair. We were called out to a job for a GE top-loading washer, the concern was that it was very noisy in the spin cycle. There are numerous things that can cause this type of complaint so we had to check it out. When we arrived our diagnoses showed that the washer bearing was the problem. On This type of machine when this problem occurs we will normally recommend that the customer replace the unit. Some GE top-loading washers just do not have a great service record. We believe in GE Kitchen products and believe them to be among the best. GE Refrigerators, ranges and microwaves give exceptional service however the washers just do not experience the same quality service. If your washer is experiencing a problem like water leak or noisy during the spin cycle, give us a call at 602-412-3133 we will be honest and let you know what the wise choice will be.
